ZoomCare is seeking an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at ZoomCare Super. ZoomCare Super is a fast, affordable ER alternative. Staffed with board-certified emergency physicians and equipped with X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound, Super can treat 80% of the reasons why adults and kids go to the Emergency Room. Working at Super offers a stress-free alternative to a traditional hospital ER. You'll practice emergency medicine without all the distractions, no overnights or on-call required all while working a consistent schedule. The Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for delivering top-notch advanced clinical care and superior customer service through the ZoomCare care model. This includes delivering a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCare tools and methodologies.

Schedule:

• Three 12 hour shifts a week, 10am - 10pm. Rotating weekly schedules and schedule flexibility options.

Compensation:

• Annual salary of $148,000 - $164,000 DOE plus bonus potential and shift pay. May be sign on bonus or relocation assistance eligible.

Essential Functions:

• Represent our values: Awesome, Creative, Respectful, Team Players, Get It Done.
• Perform with expertise everyday procedures (e.g., suturing, digital blocks, vaccinations, splinting, wound care).
• Excel as a clinician and master of ZoomCare's emergency scope of care in a quick-paced, focused environment (e.g., abdominal pain, chest pain, orthopedic injuries).
• Complete charts and lab responsibilities (call backs/follow up) on a daily basis.
• Be comfortable with adults, children and first trimester pregnant patients (no obstetrics).
• Present oneself professionally in dress, language, demeanor.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues about clinical diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning, prices, insurance coverage basics, and the price impact of adding lab tests or selecting various medicines.
• Be reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts.
• Display a high degree of compassion and care.
• Perfect the art of the Perfect Visit to the delight of your patients, utilizing our white board for patient communication.
• Communicate effectively with patients and know how to anticipate their concerns.
• Deliver a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCare tools and methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies with certification by the NCCPA or Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, required.
• Two or more years experience in an emergency department setting preferred working with all ages.
• Recent experience in an emergency medicine setting within the last five years, preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
• ACLS certified.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B, MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
• Medical providers must be eligible as a provider for Medicare or complete Medicare credentialing requirements prior to hire.
• Must be able to demonstrate 2000 hours of work experience at the time of job offer.

Working Conditions:

• Clinical timelines and work volume / deadlines may require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.
• Ability and willingness to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.
• Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
• Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
• Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to be fit tested and wear a respirator, when required.
• Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.
• Must wear a mask as needed.
