The Ethics Intern is an active member of the Ethics Program at Wellstar Health System and will work within a robust ethics department. The Ethics Intern will work on research projects as assigned and gain practical experience with health care ethics in a leading health system. The Ethics Program enjoys robust institutional support and is looking to become an international leader in the field of clinical, organizational, and research ethics. The individual reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Ethics, Advance Care Planning, and Spiritual Health.

Required Minimum Education:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate graduate degree program with preference for those in the following fields: theology, philosophy, medical humanities, law, pre-med, healthcare administration, public health other healthcare related fields.
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 2 years college Required
Required Minimum Skills:
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with a variety of stakeholders. Experience in research preferred.
