- The RN will be responsible for conducting comprehensive preoperative assessments to ensure patient safety and readiness for surgery. - The role involves providing education to patients and families regarding the surgical process and post-operative care instructions. - During surgery, the RN will assist in maintaining a sterile field and monitoring patient vital signs and overall condition. - Postoperative responsibilities include overseeing patient recovery and managing pain management strategies in collaboration with the surgical team. - The position is part of the WellStar Enterprise Support Team (WEST), requiring flexibility to work across various facilities based on staffing needs.
