- The PRN Cardiac Vascular Sonographer will perform cardiac imaging, including adult, pediatric, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
- The role also includes conducting vascular imaging such as carotid duplex imaging and Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) tests.
- The sonographer will be responsible for verifying clinician orders and obtaining complete clinical histories from patients.
- The position requires the ability to perform measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocols.
- The sonographer may be asked to administer ultrasound image-enhancing agents and perform saline bubble studies.
