- The Care Partner will support professional staff in providing care and service to patients and families under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Responsibilities include performing vital signs, AM/PM care, and assisting with various patient care tasks such as dressing changes and ostomy care.
- The role involves specimen collection and ensuring laboratory specimens are properly labeled and delivered to appropriate departments.
- The Care Partner will assist in coordinating unit activities to meet patients' needs efficiently.
- Compliance with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct is required.

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of direct patient care experience in an acute care setting.
- Successful candidates will have completed an accredited Nursing Assistant program, Medical Assistant program, or a Direct Patient Care Allied Health program.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills to effectively report pertinent information to registered nurses.
