- The Anesthesia Technician Intern will assist anesthesia staff with patient preparation for anesthesia and ensure the operating room is ready for procedures. - Responsibilities include preparing IV solutions, blood warmer devices, and cleaning monitors and other equipment for use. - The intern will assist in the setup and insertion of invasive monitoring lines and prepare fluids and pressure transducers for anesthesia personnel. - The role involves maintaining stock in anesthesia machines and carts, ensuring supplies are reordered as needed. - The intern will also assist in the transport of patients to and from the operating room, particularly those who are critically ill or on ventilators.
