✨ About The Role
- Provide consultations and assessments to manage and stabilize emergent problems
- Review treatment plans for patients housed on behavioral health observation units and patients receiving medication
- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning for patients receiving and being considered for behavioral health treatment
- Conduct group sessions on behavioral health observation units including medication compliance groups
- Maintain all required credentials including CPR certification
âš¡ Requirements
- Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of employment
- Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership abilities such as decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing practice in a behavioral health setting, correctional experience is preferred
- Ability to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to a diverse patient population
- Strong resilience and compassion to navigate unique challenges in delivering exceptional mental health support
