Clinical Operations Coordinator (MA or LPN)

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY. Job Schedule: Monday-Friday; Dayshift. 4 days in office, 1 day remote. Job Type: Full Time; W-2. Pay Range: Medical Assistance: $50,000- $60,000 per year. Licensed Practical Nurse: $60,000-$70,000 per year.

Job Description: VitalCheck Wellness, as an independent contractor, is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse with strong clinical operations coordination or management experience. You will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our healthcare delivery programs, assisting in internal workflows, coordinating across teams, and helping ensure a seamless experience for both our clients and our staff. This position blends operational logistics, client support, and cross-functional project coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee scheduling, site coordination, and service execution to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Support internal communications between clinical teams, clients, and operations staff.
• Maintain clinic performance trackers and assist with reporting and data collection.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements.
• Serve as a liaison for clients and staff to troubleshoot delivery issues and ensure high satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and company standards.
• Oversee or support clinical tasks (e.g. vaccinations, specimen collection, lab coordination) as needed.
• Perform other administrative and operational tasks as assigned to support the needs of the team.

Requirements:

• Active clean Medical Assistant Certification or New York Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as MA or LPN.
• 5 + years of experience in operations, logistics, or healthcare coordination.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
• Experience with specimen collection for drug testing is highly valued.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA) strongly preferred.
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite and documenting in EMR systems.
• Highly Organized: Skilled at prioritizing tasks, juggling multiple workflows, and staying ahead of deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Results-Oriented: Focused on outcomes, continuous improvement, and delivering measurable value.
• Customer service-oriented and has great bedside manner.
• Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Midtown Manhattan, NY.
