- The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of assigned patients in the Trauma-Surgical Intermediate Care Unit. - This position involves caring for patients with complex needs, including those who are mechanically ventilated and require continuous monitoring. - The RN will supervise assigned personnel and must be knowledgeable about hospital policies and procedures relevant to nursing care. - Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires frequent interaction with patients and healthcare team members. - The unit is set to open in January 2025, providing an opportunity for nurses to grow professionally in a new environment.

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or hold Compact State Licensure in Nursing. - A minimum of one year of nursing or patient care experience in an acute care setting is required for this role. - Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills and be competent in basic dysrhythmia and ACLS. - The successful nurse will demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities to promote a positive working environment and improve patient outcomes. - New graduates or nurses new to the practice area will have one year to complete specialty certifications.
