Senior Accountant - Remote - Remote Eligible

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is to prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
• Analyze revenue and expense to ensure they are recorded and accrued properly
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Other projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Proven solid understanding of accounting theory
• Ability to be highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
• Demonstrated intermediate to expert skills with Microsoft Excel, PeopleSoft (preferred)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
