The Recovery & Resiliency Market Lead is charged with ensuring that recovery and resiliency, as well as the perspective of consumers and families, are actively considered in every phase of our operations. This includes identifying community and other programs that will increase the use of these principles, working with the behavioral health community to further refine these principles as they relate to services for consumers, and developing and implementing internal and external based training programs.
This position requires up to 25% travel throughout the state of Kentucky. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with community providers of peer support to expand the network and ensure quality services are available for our members
- Educate and create new curriculum specific to state need and facilitate community trainings
- Model the principles of recovery and provide member perspective to our CM, UM, Network, Product, and Affordability partners
- Advocate for a recovery perspective in the community through working closely with stakeholder groups and Consumer Run Organizations
- Serve as a liaison between the Recovery and Resiliency peer program and the Health Plan
- Lead system change to address policies and practices that create preventable health disparities
- Provide training to Consumer Run Organizations (Mental Health First Aid, 8 Dimensions of Wellness, Self-Advocacy and Self-Determination)
- Monthly consultation calls with each Consumer Run Organization in the state to offer support and address educational needs
- Serve on a Peer Workforce Work Group and head initiative to revise state regulations to remove barriers to peer provider certification and increase network of providers
- Establish solid collaborative relationships with existing consumer and family organizations, such as local NAMI and Mental Health American chapters. Promote and facilitate active engagement with these organizations
- Support and strengthen the work of local consumer and family run organizations including communicating new and innovative successful consumer-driven services and programs occurring across the country through workshops, newsletters, web casts and meetings; providing coaching, training and support to develop new consumer delivered services based on consumer and family needs; and sharing information about funding opportunities
- Identify and outreach to community and leaders of ethnic minority groups to identify and develop programs based in recovery and resiliency that are culturally competent
- Serve as a member of committees and subcommittees as designated by the Executive Director
- Participate in quality review processes for peer support specialists

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of post-recovery experience
- 2+ years of experience in community support systems, consumer run organizations, and/or behavior health care including substance abuse programs
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- 1+ years of experience organizing and leading educational programs and events
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel spreadsheets, and the Internet
- Proven ability to create PowerPoint presentations
- Access to install secure, high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace at home
- Active driver's license
- Access to reliable transportation that will allow you to travel up to 30% of the time throughout Kentucky
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or greater
- Certified Peer Support Specialist or Certified Recovery Support Specialist
- Certified Whole Health Coach
- Experience leading a consumer or family run organization
- Experience with Kentucky Medicaid population
- Project management experience
- MHFA, QPR, Seeking Safety, or Recovery training
- Managed Care experience
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of Recovery principles
- Demonstrated understanding of the tenets of mental health recovery
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
