We're looking for a Pharmacy Technician I to join our PharmScript team within our Returns Technician department. As a Pharmacy Technician I, you'll support the onsite pharmacist while organizing our return prescriptions. You'll be responsible for ensuring that pharmacy standards are maintained, policies are carried out, and objectives are accomplished. The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys troubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helping customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in the HD room
  • Monitor p-listed waste and schedule regular pickups as needed
  • Oversee all returns, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines (returns not to exceed 14 days); follow appropriate procedures for destruction/damaged items
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for waste management per company policy
  • Be familiar with spill management procedures and plans
  • Keep supply inventory current for waste management
  • Stay current with all waste management and USP 800 tasks/training
  • Collaborate with team members to support pharmacy workflow

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in applicable state or willingness to obtain one within 2 weeks of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
