You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop capability vision and associated long-term roadmap for a range of analytics models and capabilities
  • Leverage knowledge of health plan and/or health system operations and performance drivers to align analytical insights with value creation for customers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new evidence-based programs and transformative initiatives
  • Oversee large-scale analytics program transitions and transformations that enable improved quality and quantity of analytics delivered to clients
  • Build trusted relationships with Lines of Businesses to support clarity, drive value, and improve member and employee experience
  • Support Business Planning through the entire cycle by developing a deep awareness of the business priorities and apply the specialized knowledge to implement recommendations in collaboration with the business partners
  • Assess viability of programs/business cases using appropriate analytical techniques and pressure-test the value stories across our business partners using rigorous statistical methodologies
  • Formulates actionable insights and articulates analytical findings to senior leadership across multiple lines of business, while exposing assumptions and validation work in an easily understandable and consistent manner
  • Provide strategic guidance and prioritization to help identify goals and targets for our business functions. Establish those goals with appropriate evidence, rigor and measurability in mind
  • Synthesizes key initiatives with broad impacts to identify opportunities in alignment with and support of key business metrics
  • Use complex analytical models (supervised, unsupervised) and statistical analysis to provide direction concisely and effectively for Leaders across the organization
  • Develop analytic roadmap to identify analytics needs, develop requirements, prioritize initiatives, translate to roadmap, and represent the customers and employees in all planning and development discussions and decisions

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of data analysis experience - ability to work with huge volumes of data, disparate relational databases and schemas and design applications that efficiently scale to process hundreds of millions of observations
  • 8+ years of experience as a programmer either in application languages like Java, C++, VB or Data Processing/ Statistical Computing platforms like Spark, SAS, R, Python
  • Proven solid presentation and communication skills with ability to develop high level executive as well deep-dive technical presentations
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship skills necessary to work with an integrated team of customers, product managers, project managers, developers, analysts, and quality engineers
  • Proven excellent Communication (oral & written) skills along with relationship-building and customer facing skills are needed with an ability to facilitate meetings with Business and IT stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud computing and analytics ecosystems such as Azure or AWS
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native ETL pipeline such as ADF, Airflow, Databricks DLT
  • Experience building scalable business reports using Power BI or Tableau
  • Domain expertise in healthcare services, health insurance or adjacent space
  • Proficiency in distributed analytics frameworks particularly Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala)
  • Proficiency with Git and version control systems

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
