Execute Governance Frameworks - Implement and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and best practices as directed by the Director of Data Gov. to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance.
Drive Governance Projects - Lead and manage day-to-day execution of assigned projects, set clear objectives, track progress, and report status updates to leadership.
Support Success Metrics - Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI to measure data governance effectiveness and surface insights to the team.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Coordinate with IT, business, operations and product teams to execute on governance tasks aligned to cross-functional objectives outlined.
Monitor & Improve Data Quality - Partner with data stewards and owners to implement data quality controls, metadata management, and data lineage tracking.
Support Access & Compliance - Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPPA, CCPA) and manage contract-based access control frameworks.
Educate & Advocate - Provide training to stakeholders, promoting a culture of data stewardship and accountability.
Stay Ahead of Trends - Keep up with evolving data governance methodologies, tools, and regulatory changes, recommending process enhancements as needed.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields
Solid understanding of data governance principles, frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DGI), and regulatory compliance
SQL or preliminary coding skills to support data validation and governance automation
Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence cross-functional teams
Proven solid project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
Proven ability to define meaningful success metrics and track progress
Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable governance solutions
Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Databricks, Collibra, Informatica, Alation)
