This position is required to ensure compliance with UnitedHealthcare's contract with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). As a Clinical Administrative Coordinator Senior, you will provide administrative and operational support related to Long-term Care (LTC) members' placement changes, Level of Care (LOC) annual redetermination and Medicaid Eligibility in compliance with the contract and its amendments.

Schedule: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm Eastern Standard time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for other team members
  • Ensure member address changes and transitions are processed and submitted to the State upon receipt within contractual time frames
  • Ensure annual LOC redeterminations are submitted to the State (Department of Elder Affairs-CARES) upon receipt within contractual timeframes
  • Process incoming mail from the Department of Children & Families related to Member Medicaid Eligibility
  • Notification to Case Management staff of Member Medicaid Redetermination due date
  • Provide support to Case Management staff within assigned areas of responsibility
  • Documentation of activities in Community Care, Navigate and document multiple clinical applications and SharePoint site
  • Training staff on State contract requirements and UnitedHealthcare processes

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 4+ years equivalent experience working within the health care industry or with health care insurance
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • 2+ years of experience working in the health care industry
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with health care insurance
  • Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
  • Clerical or administrative support background or experience working in a call center environment
  • Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
