The Business Data Operations Analyst is responsible for conducting data analysis through reports, visualizations, and other mechanisms related to the operations in the market. This role will partner closely with Health Plan leadership and operational leaders to identify trends, conduct gap analysis, identify root causes, and collaborate to remediate. The Business Data Operations Analyst will use their solid business analysis skills to gather the necessary data requirements for successful business changes and issue resolution.

This is a fast-paced working environment that requires the ability to multitask with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducts data analysis to proactively and reactively identify opportunities for member and provider satisfaction, regulatory adherence, and cost avoidance
• Leverages analytical skills to identify trends in claims, provider, member, and clinical data that will increase efficiencies and outcomes
• Collaborates with technology and reporting teams to communicate requirements for internal and state related reports
• Understands and communicates all project steps needed towards remediation
• Serves as a liaison between the plan and various functional areas.
• Conducts moderately complex data analysis by leveraging various data sources and formats to address a range of challenges
• Works independently and within a team to achieve the necessary goals for success

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data analysis
• 3+ years of experience with reports and data analysis visualization tools
• 2+ years of Medicaid and/or Managed Care experience
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to a cross-functional audience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of SQL experience
• 3+ years of complex data analysis

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
