Making the health system work better for everyone isn't just our motivation. It's our responsibility, and it's behind every single decision we make. As an Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs, you will serve as a leader on a team of regulatory professionals who analyze new regulatory requirements, work closely with the business to understand the impact and obligations of those requirements, and support the business in understanding the evolving regulatory landscape.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
It will be your job to determine how we can provide more value to our business teams and clients in a regulatory space. That requires big picture thinking and a keen, strategic mindset. In the meantime, you will be expected to monitor and drive new regulatory requirements.
Your challenge will be tracking and analyzing all new regulatory requirements. And you will be expected to prepare summaries of analysis that include, as appropriate, relevant legislative history, comparisons to existing or proposed legislation in other jurisdictions and detailed descriptions of the operational requirements and affected departments. You will also be expected to provide training and guidance on regulatory affairs and new regulatory requirements throughout the business, including with leadership across Optum Rx and with client organizations.
You'll need to be rock solid in your role as an expert on regulatory changes and in understanding how these changes will affect the business. A critical part of your role is communicating these changes in a meaningful way that will facilitate a solider front-end compliance consistent with regulations. Fundamentally, you will need to ensure our company focuses on doing things right the first time.
You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
