The Associate Communication Director, Optum Health, will lead internal and external communication strategies and execution for the Midwest/Mid-Atlantic region, including executive, change management and critical event communication, and media relations, leveraging strategies and tactics that elevate the businesses’ reputation and enhance performance and connections with employees and external audiences. The Associate Director will work with the Director of Optum Health Communications and partner with leaders and other key stakeholders across the business to develop aligned messaging plans that engage employees on business goals, performance and culture and partner with other key stakeholders across the business and enterprise including External Affairs, Marketing, Clinical, Operations, Patient Experience, People Team, Legal, Compliance and other enterprise partners to identify and leverage opportunities to drive business objectives.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
