✨ About The Role
- The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel
- Responsibilities include administrative functions such as directing the functions of CNAs/GNAs or other nursing personnel, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and participating in quality assurance programs
- The role involves participating in Center surveys or inspections made by authorized government agencies, as requested
- The position requires interpreting department policies and procedures to personnel, residents, visitors, and government agencies as necessary
- Other duties include admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, completing accident/incident reports, and providing information to the Billing Office as necessary

- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the state
- Should have knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to teamwork, and be an example of the team concept
- Should possess leadership and supervisory ability and be willing to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
