✨ About The Role

- The Director of MSL External Research will lead a team of 4-5 MSL Research Liaisons in the US, focusing on external and investigator-initiated research.
	- This role involves collaboration with Precision Medicine Program Directors to engage strategic Tempus accounts for research proposals.
	- The Director will oversee the scientific content of external research projects and present quarterly updates on key performance measures.
	- Responsibilities include managing MSL research support, facilitating study team advisory review panels, and pursuing external strategic cohorts and data.
	- The position requires up to 40% travel within the US for major oncology conferences and meetings.
                            

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a medical, clinical, or science-related field such as MD, PharmD, PhD, or MS in Biological Science or Clinical Discipline.
	- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is required, with at least 1 year in MSL team management.
	- Candidates should possess strong clinical and scientific research skills, with the ability to critically evaluate research concepts and methodologies.
	- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for developing scientific abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
	- The successful individual will demonstrate effective leadership and management skills, including project management and team mentorship capabilities.
