✨ About The Role
- Responsible for documenting and providing skilled nursing care to patients following the developed plan of care and physician orders
- Furnish services, treatments, and diagnostic procedures as assigned per the plan of care and agency policies
- Assist patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques and initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
- Observe signs and symptoms, report reactions to treatments, and inform physicians of changes in patient's condition
- Attend patient care conferences to discuss the need for involvement of other health team members and maintain confidentiality of patient information
âš¡ Requirements
- Ideal candidate is a licensed nurse with at least one year of nursing experience, preferably with previous pediatric experience
- Must have a current CPR certification and be a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
- Ability to work independently and follow a developed plan of care while adhering to confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Strong communication skills to effectively teach and counsel patients and their families on nursing care needs
- Willingness to attend staff meetings, patient care conferences, and in-services as scheduled
