The Medical Assistant or LPN will assist the Physician, Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Staff with various aspects of patient care (including clinical, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks) to ensure our participants satisfaction. In addition to core Medical Assistant or LPN responsibilities, this position serves as a key person for the provider regarding day-to-day workflow issues and office procedures..
Required Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or a national medical assistant certification from a national certifying organization (AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA) are preferred. Or active LPN License
Required Experience: Two years of experience with direct clinical responsibilities as a medical assistant preferred. Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
