Job Summary: Installs, repairs and maintains various types of plumbing fixtures and medical gas systems. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: State of Oklahoma Journeyman Plumber License. Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of all plumbing systems; able to install and repair all types of plumbing systems. Ability to self direct work. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Install various types of plumbing fixtures and medical gas systems. Repair and maintain plumbing and medical gas systems. Estimate material requirements for plumbing projects. Read and understand blueprints. Successfully uses prints to troubleshoot and solve plumbing problems. Assist other trades and departments when called upon. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision. Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
