We are hiring for:

Idd Facility Nurse Licensed Practical Nurses / Lpn

Type: Regular

To provide professional care to service users, aimed at preventing disease and maintaining good health care.

Pay: $30.42 hourly

Sign on Bonus: $4,000

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 6a-2p

Job Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services
• Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel
• Administer medications and treatments or assist with medication administration
• Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled
• Conduct medication closest assessments
• Collect health related data
• Observe and report any abnormal health related findings
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team
• Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program
• Current nursing license with no restrictions
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Physical requirements include: ability to lift 20 pounds, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, pull a minimum of 25 pounds, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, stoop, stand and walk, proficiency in CPR, and vision requirements.
