✨ About The Role

- The Director of MPP Engagement will provide leadership and oversight for MPP contract arrangements under Optum Physician Advisor Services - Responsibilities include overseeing overall MPP OPAS performance, facilitating workflow for centralized resources, and leading new Integrated Utilization Management and UM component of the Hospital Case Management product launches - The role involves engaging with MPP Hospital client leadership teams, monitoring trends for each MPP, and partnering with product and deal teams to refine deal pipeline and solution design - The Director will also own and drive operational readiness activities for MPP in coordination with the OPAS Implementation team - The successful candidate will be rewarded and recognized for their performance in an environment that challenges them and provides clear direction on what it takes to succeed, as well as opportunities for career development

⚡ Requirements

- Registered nurse with an active license and a minimum of 10 years of utilization management leadership experience, preferably within an onsite hospital facility clinical setting - Demonstrated ability to lead new product lines with clients and make decisions with little to no oversight - Proven highly polished client-facing communication skills - Experience in client engagement and understanding of key hospital metrics with expertise in utilization management - Strong data analysis skills and the ability to track metrics during implementation and improve upon them thereafter
