✨ About The Role

- The Director of MPP Engagement will provide leadership and oversight for MPP contract arrangements under Optum Physician Advisor Services - Responsibilities include overseeing overall MPP OPAS performance, facilitating workflow for centralized resources, and leading new Integrated Utilization Management and UM component of the Hospital Case Management product launches - The role involves engaging with MPP Hospital client leadership teams, monitoring trends, and partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and refine UM and Physician Advisor workflows - The Director will also partner with both product and MPP deal teams to refine deal pipeline and solution design, as well as own and drive operational readiness activities for MPP in coordination with the OPAS Implementation team

⚡ Requirements

- Registered nurse with an active license and a minimum of 10 years of utilization management leadership experience, preferably within an onsite hospital facility clinical setting - Strong client engagement experience and understanding of key hospital metrics with expertise in utilization management - Demonstrated ability to lead new product lines with clients and make decisions with little to no oversight - Proven highly polished client-facing communication skills - Ability to track metrics during implementation and improve upon them thereafter
