β¨ About The Role
- Responsible for managing quality programs, initiatives, and reporting, as well as risk adjustment activities for Optum in the Tri-State region
- Provide support to teams implementing and reporting on quality programs recognized as the best in the state
- Conduct all aspects of Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA) process evaluation and education to internal partners
- Analyze reports to identify documentation/coding trends and create opportunities for improvement
- Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical documentation, risk adjustment, and coding guidelines
β‘ Requirements
- Experienced RN with a current, unrestricted license in the state of New York, with at least 3 years of clinical practice experience in an acute setting
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and technical resources
- Comfortable working remotely and possessing a designated workspace with high-speed internet service
- Ability to analyze reports, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement in documentation and coding
