Carolina Behavioral Care, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Pinehurst, NC. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you’ll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

As a Registered Nurse, you will work directly with our psychiatry staff and be responsible for coordinating our Spravato treatment program. You will work within a highly collaborative and supportive environment committed to providing exceptional care.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Monitor patients during Spravato treatments
• Coordinate schedules and maintain appropriate communication
• Submit data and maintain appropriate records
• Administer medication and submit lab specimens

Required qualification:

• Clear, active and unrestricted license (RN) in the state of practice
• Current NPI or the ability to obtain one before hire

Preferred qualifications:

• Clinical experience with psychiatric/mental health nursing
• Experience with Spravato treatments
• Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation – Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
