Integrated Registered Dietitian is responsible for collaborating with members and the nurse team to identify and address nutrition opportunities to guide members toward nutrition education, RDN/MNT visits. Collaboration with the Integrated Registered Dietitian adds to the holistic approach you will take with helping members improve their condition management.
The Integrated Registered Dietitian role will provide support when a nurse identifies nutritional gaps, when a nurse needs additional guidance to support a member’s nutrition needs and speak with members as appropriate.
If you are located in metro Atlanta, GA area and suburbs, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
*Remote work hours Monday - Friday, 10:00am EST - 7:00pm EST
Primary responsibilities:
- Identify potential resources (e.g., websites, mailings, community resources) to provide support to promote success of member's desired nutritional behavior change
- Engage members telephonically to drive health outcomes
- Educate members on health and wellness, nutritional information that is consistent with Evidence Based Guidelines as appropriate
- Work with members to provide members with holistic health management and identify barriers or obstacles to making lifestyle, nutritional and behavior improvements
- Identify resistance, understand and acknowledge the source, and use appropriate strategies to diffuse resistance in a positive way
- Work collaboratively with nurses to help their members to set health and wellness, nutritional goals and action plans, setting long term and meaningful, relevant SMART goals for each objective
- Monitor on-going progress of business processes (e.g., collect and review data; shadow end users; review pertinent metrics) to identify potential challenges, risks, and/or defects
- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., senior leadership; end users) to ensure consistent use and application of solutions across functions and teams
- Utilize stakeholder (e.g., senior leadership; end user) feedback and/or process performance information to identify potential continuous improvement opportunities
- Provide input into and/or develop relevant policies, procedures, and/or work tools to support new or updated business processes
- Field and assess complaints and/or requests to troubleshoot and correct problems (e.g., work helpdesk, access relevant systems)
- Ensure obtained data and information are accurate and relevant to meet end users' needs
- Identify risks and opportunities associated with current processes
- Stay abreast of all customers specific details, to ensure high quality customer service
- Engaging members telephonically to drive health outcomes

Required qualifications:
- Active, unrestrictive Registered Dietician license
- 3+ years of experience in direct education and/or coaching individuals for disease prevention, health promotion and behavior change
- Intermediate level of proficiency in PC-based word processing and database documentation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of disease prevention (cardiovascular and diabetes) and basic understanding of exercise principles, nutrition, and weight management
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to get additional licensure in additional states

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
