Department: Medical Specialties (Dermatology, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Neurology, Podiatry)
Schedule: Full time, 38.75 hours/weekly, Monday through Friday, rotating shifts 7:30AM - 4:00PM, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
The medical assistant performs a variety of duties involving clinical and administrative patient care while adhering to the standards of the practice. Provides care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Assists in the examination and treatment of patients by taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperatures, height, weight, etc. Assists physicians and others with simple to moderate clinical/diagnostic procedures such as urine cultures, pregnancy tests, throat cultures, etc. Prepares treatment rooms. Performs a variety of clerical functions to support office functions. Performs related duties to facilitate the efficient utilization of computer-based information. This position provides a full range of medical support services while ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Medical Assistant diploma, technical certificate or certification OR 1+ years of experience performing the critical skills of a medical assistant after on-the-job training OR Current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assistant program OR EMT certification
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
