- The Manager, Appeals and Denials will oversee the daily operations of the Appeals and Denials team, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
- Responsibilities include monitoring colleague caseloads, approving PTO requests, and managing team productivity metrics.
- The role involves conducting performance reviews and ensuring the successful onboarding of new colleagues through competency assessments.
- The manager will participate in special projects and collaborate with internal and external partners to improve team workflows.
- Compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as accreditation standards, is a critical aspect of this position.
β‘ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have an active, unrestricted registered clinical license in their state of residence, such as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapist, or Occupational Therapist.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical management experience is required, demonstrating the ability to lead multi-disciplinary care teams effectively.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential for managing reports and presentations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within the team.
- The candidate should possess proven problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
