- The Inpatient Care Management Nurse will be responsible for ensuring proper utilization of health services. - This role involves assessing and interpreting member needs and identifying solutions to help members live healthier lives. - The nurse will perform initial and concurrent reviews of inpatient cases using evidence-based criteria. - Collaboration with facility healthcare professionals and Optum Enterprise Clinical Services Medical Directors is a key responsibility. - The position requires participation in discussions to improve the progression of care and effective discharge planning. - Compliance with Federal, State, and accreditation organizations is mandatory. - The nurse will identify delays in care or services and manage them accordingly. - Participation in team meetings, education, and audit activities is expected.

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have a current, unrestricted RN license in their state of residence. - A minimum of 3 years of acute care clinical nursing experience is required for this role. - Candidates should possess at least 1 year of experience in utilization review using evidence-based guidelines. - Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and clinical platforms, is essential. - The successful applicant will have a designated workspace and the ability to install secure high-speed internet at home.
