We are seeking a dynamic and experienced healthcare IT professional with current Epic certification and a proven track record of leading successful initiatives in complex healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will bring solid project management capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and a results-driven approach to improving healthcare delivery through technology. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to foster cross-functional partnerships that drive innovation and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Epic-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery of milestones
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic applications, providing guidance and support to clinical and operational teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify workflow improvements and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency and outcomes
  • Oversee cross-functional teams during system implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts
  • Apply change management strategies to support user adoption and minimize disruption during transitions
  • Maintain great relationships with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure transparency and alignment
  • Monitor project performance, manage competing priorities, and adjust plans as needed to meet evolving organizational needs
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Provide clear and effective communication tailored to diverse audiences, including training materials, executive briefings, and technical documentation
  • Continuously evaluate Epic system performance and recommend enhancements to support strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Epic certification or accreditation in at least one application
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams or initiatives in a healthcare IT environment
  • Demonstrated experience with project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrated experience with relationship management abilities with a history of building productive, collaborative partnerships across departments and levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience with process and outcome orientation, with a track record of improving workflows, efficiency, and measurable results
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to maintain focus and deliver results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epic certification in one of the following functional areas:
    • EpicCare Ambulatory
    • Patient Access (Grand Central, Cadence, Prelude)
    • Revenue Cycle (Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex implementations or upgrades
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations and navigating competing priorities with tact and professionalism
  • Knowledge of hospital IT operations and the broader healthcare delivery environment
  • Familiarity with change management principles and strategies to support adoption of new processes or systems
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and best practices in healthcare IT

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
