This is a full time 3/12 hours (additional 8 hrs. bi-weekly), rotating shift, including rotational weekend (Saturday & Sunday) coverage at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Westchester Behavioral Health Center.

Preferred Criteria

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing
  • Nursing Certifications

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BCLS certification
  • Complete Nurse Residency Program if new Graduate
  • Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science & current health care environment
  • Knowledge of customer service principle & effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of use of computer applications
  • Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
