A per diem registered nurse, possesses the qualifications and attributes essential for the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutic nursing care. Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary health care team to optimize team performance. Acts as a patient advocate by addressing individual patient needs.

This is a per diem evening shift position. At least 4 shifts per month. Per diem for evening shift (4P-2A), no on call requirement.

Preferred Criteria

• RN apheresis experience
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) certification

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• BCLS certification
• 2-3 years dialysis RN experience.
• 4 shifts per month required

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
