✨ About The Role
- Provide direct patient care as per the California Nurse Practice Act and implement plans of care initiated by the registered nurse
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner consistent with the plan of care
- Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education relevant to the diagnosis and plan of care
- Prepare, coordinate, and submit clinical and progress notes as required
- Follow all COVID-19 safety measures recommended by WHO, CDC, state, and county guidelines
âš¡ Requirements
- Must hold a current California LVN license with certifications in Blood Withdrawal and Intravenous Therapy
- Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience or experience in a skilled nursing facility or home health agency
- Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills are essential for success in this role
- Ability to perform blood draws from patients and provide patient education on various topics like wound care and medication management
- Must have a high school diploma or higher degree in Nursing and current CPR/BLS certification
