Works independently with general supervision, answering all switchboard calls, monitoring all system alarms, coordinating call codes, and answering the telephone answering service calls.
Monitors all system alarms and notifies proper departments.
Handles all codes in a professional manner.
Answers Physicians' answering service phone and directs calls accordingly. Coordinates helicopter landings for transporting critical patients.
Directs all incoming switchboard calls in a professional manner.
Trains all new employees on operation of PBX Switchboard.
Maintains operational manuals with PBX Supervisor.
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
