The Stroke Program Coordinator is responsible for managing and improving stroke care for patients prehospital, during hospital stay and post discharge; staff education and community outreach programs related to stroke prevention and treatment. The coordinator acts as a liaison between healthcare professionals involved in stroke care, ensuring that patients receive timely and high-quality treatment. The coordinator develops and implements stroke program policies and procedures and monitors and evaluates program performance to ensure the stroke program meets regulatory requirements and standards for accreditation.

Current RN License in the state in which they are working or covered by compact (required)
BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association (required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required)
Masters Degree (preferred)
5 years' experience in Neuroscience, Emergency, or Critical Care nursing (required)
2 years' experience in patient care management or supervision (preferred)
