✨ About The Role
- The Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish goals and strategies for meeting patient care needs and provide individualized teaching to patients
- Administer medications safely, maintain current nursing care plans, and act as a patient safety advocate through participation in quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a patient advocate in collaboration with spiritual care, palliative care, and ethics, while upholding the mission of the ministry to provide physical and psychological support to patients and families
- Requires working with patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and may involve exposure to high-stress environments and fluctuating workloads
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant industry experience in providing medical/surgical care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide quality patient care
- Ability to prioritize patient care, demonstrate effective time management, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives
- Holds a current RN license in the state of practice and preferably possesses additional certifications such as ACLS or CCRN
- Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing education, professional growth, and adherence to best practices in patient care
