Summary:
This position works at the direction of the Registered Nurse providing patient care and general duties in the organization. Provides direct care for the patients as assigned, answers call lights, and performs courier and transporter functions. Collects data through a variety of means including observation and through the use of instrumentation. Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in nursing theory and practice of nursing process.
- Nurses assigned to a specialty unit will be required to meet criteria established for that unit.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college/university or institution.
- Experience: Experience preferred.
- Registration, Certification or Licensure Requirement: Obtain RN License within 90 days. If requirement not met due to board failure, must be obtained within 60 days of fail date. Failure to obtain within the extended period will result in immediate removal from position. BLS certification required. Other certification required per department policy. Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire/licensure.

- Hours: 7:00PM - 7:30AM with rotation
- Hours per pay period: 72
- Weekend, holiday and on-call rotation requirements per department policy
