Job Summary: Under the administrative direction of the Administrative director of Cardiac Services and the Medical Director of Cardiology, the EKG tech displays proficiency in the performance of diagnostic procedures including EKG, Holter monitor, transtelphonic EKG, cardiac stress, Thallium stress, and Adenosine stress. Ensures prompt availability of test results for interpretation by the cardiologist. Assists as needed in IOP data collection/projects. Accepts additional assignments in a positive manner.
Required: High school diploma/GED or above; Graduate of non-invasive cardiology program such as CVT preferred.
