Nursing Care Provider

Summary: As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct resident care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis.
• Assists residents with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Performs treatments and administers medications in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
• Obtains and processes physician's orders in accordance with scope of practice.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates resident's status and reactions to interventions and reports findings to the physician as necessary.
• Delegates and oversees resident care and makes assignments to support staff.

• Accredited Program (Required)
• AHCA Background Screening (AHCA) - State of Florida (FL)
• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (PN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
