The Learning Design Professional 2 is a dual facilitation and design role and uses instructional design and adult learning theory to deliver the appropriate solution to a knowledge or performance gap as well as executes training through both virtual and in person facilitation. The Learning Design Professional 2 must reside in the state of Michigan and will support Michigan Medicaid Care Management learning efforts including New Hire, Upskill, and Reskill. This role will primarily work remote but will be expected to travel within the state for work based upon need. The perfect fit must be willing to travel.
The Learning Design Professional 2 evaluates and organizes content, develops instructor-led, self-paced, and blended training, and delivers training both virtually (VILT) and in-person (ILT). The role requires facilitating sessions on camera in virtual settings (often weeks at a time) and face-to-face with participants. Additional responsibilities include identifying learning needs, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure course content is current and aligned with organizational objectives, and using collaborative tools for facilitation such as Zoom, Outlook, CSOD, and OneNote. This position tracks and analyzes program effectiveness using learner feedback, proficiency assessments, and performance metrics and reports back to business partners to collaborate on both opportunities and successes. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and takes guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines.

The associate must reside in Michigan and be willing to travel.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $59,300 - $80,900 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
