- The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for administering therapies according to prescriber orders and facility protocols.
- This role involves completing the admission process and documenting all pertinent data in the patient's medical record.
- The practitioner will evaluate patient responses to therapy and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participation in the Quality Improvement program is expected, along with providing clinical coverage for other nurse practitioners as needed.
- The position may require participation in an on-call program, including after-hours and weekend responsibilities.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing and at least two years of nursing experience.
- Experience with IV therapies is essential for this role, indicating a strong clinical background.
- Candidates must possess a current and valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification to practice in the applicable state.
- The successful individual will be adept at patient care and able to perform physical assessments as needed.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with the IV team and educate patients and their families.
