Customer Care Intern

This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

A Customer Care Intern will work alongside our Customer Care, Claims, Recovery, Grievance & Appeals and Performance Quality Audit teams to support projects that drive collaboration, process improvement, and cross-functional teamwork across the organization.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Partner with Customer Service and Claims teams to improve cross-functional collaboration.
  • Use data analytics to assess and understand process changes within the organization.
  • Support the team in planning for the future, ensuring that current improvements are implemented, sustained and expanded.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week, for the duration of our Fall Intern Program September 15th- December 12th
  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Health Services Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Leadership, or a related field at an accredited university or college.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship.

Preferred Skills & Experiences:

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn quickly.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Confident in public speaking and presenting to teams.
