- The Pharmacy Intern will assist the Pharmacy team in providing an excellent experience for patients under the supervision of a Preceptor. - Responsibilities include participating in the prescription filling process, providing patient counseling, and offering health screenings and immunizations when appropriate. - The role involves collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and maintaining patient safety. - The intern will also assist pharmacy patients and front store customers with their inquiries. - A key component of the role is to promote patient care programs and keep customers healthy. - The intern will be expected to support the implementation of solutions to achieve specified goals within the pharmacy.
