✨ About The Role
- The role involves applying critical thinking and clinical guidelines for services requiring precertification
- Majority of the time will be spent at a desk and on the phone collecting and reviewing clinical information
- Must have an active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Louisiana
- Position requires proficiency in computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems
- The job entails authorizing procedures/services based on specific criteria and initiating Medical Director referrals as needed

- Must have at least 3 years of clinical experience and be a registered nurse in the state of Louisiana
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be proficient in computer skills
- Comfortable working Monday through Friday with occasional weekend/holiday on-call shifts
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to apply evidenced-based clinical criteria
- Experience with prior authorization is preferred
