- The intern will support the Practitioner Performance Analyst on the Medical Staff Services team.
- Responsibilities include assisting with the Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) process related to provider credentialing.
- The intern will help clean out and close open FPPEs for multiple providers, addressing a backlog of approximately 1500 evaluations.
- The role involves communication with section directors and healthcare providers to facilitate the FPPE process.
- The intern will also assist in creating a RedCap project for the physician FPPE process, including building, testing, and piloting the project.

- The ideal candidate is currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare data analytics, or Medical Terminology.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with section directors and healthcare providers.
- A detail-oriented mindset is necessary to assist in closing out open FPPEs and managing a backlog of evaluations.
- The candidate should be comfortable working with data and technology, particularly in creating and testing projects in RedCap.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently will contribute to success in this role.
