✨ About The Role
- The Day Surgery Registered Nurse will perform nursing processes while providing direct patient care in a safe and effective manner.
- This role involves functioning as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote quality patient outcomes.
- The position requires flexibility in workdays, with variable shifts starting at 6:30 AM and ending at 7:00 PM.
- The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Ongoing education and certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) will be required within the first year of employment.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of RN experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in nursing practices.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, indicating a commitment to advanced education in the field.
- The successful applicant will possess a valid Registered Nurse license in Georgia or through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Candidates should be able to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Experience in pediatric care is highly valued, particularly in emergency or surgical settings.
