✨ About The Role
- The role involves providing nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, following established standards of care and procedures
- Responsibilities include performing patient care functions, administering medications, maintaining equipment, and documenting patient information
- The job requires assisting with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams
- Involvement in patient education, explaining procedures, and providing general health and self-care instructions
- Additional duties include transportation of patients, administrative tasks, and maintaining a clean work area
⚡ Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a LVN in a home health/hospice or acute care setting is required
- Must hold a Vocational Nurse License in California and have I.V. Certification
- Comfortable with providing direct care to hospice patients at home and dealing with death and dying
- Ability to uphold ethical behavior, follow organizational policies, and support compliance initiatives
- Strong communication skills to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to patients and team members
